I realised that I was having a bad time getting the camera to focus. Peter had a look and realised that the focus wasn't locking on to the bird, but either the background or the perch in front. So I'd wasted a lot of images of some rather nice birds. Half a dozen attempts to get this...

..... or Get me a longer spoon someone I don't know how I dare make fun of a Nuthatch, when they're so pretty and such a rare sighting for me.

Finally managed to get a shot of the nuthatches that are visiting my feeding station although this one was on the roof.

Nuthatch - I haven't picked up a camer for two weeks so nothing new I'm afraid. Getting withdrawal symptoms. Weather Yuk! in Devon today.
