    I thought a butterfly had landed in the tree next to me and then I saw this beautiful little gift! He posed for me for about ten minutes before flying off to find more food! Couldn't believe a hummer was capable of sitting in one place for that length of time!

    Of the tropical hummingbirds, a stand-out is the tiny booted racket-tail, with long tail feathers reminiscent of a squash racket. The female doesn't have the tail, but still a beautiful bird.
