    This isn't my best picture of the trip, but it's a Lifer. In the trees and difficult lighting didn't help me with this Olive-backed Oriole. A lovely bird to see though and just sorry I couldn't do him justice.

    My apologies, but this juvenile olive-backed oriole was mistakingly identified as Little Wattlebird. Thanks Ken for helping me out with the proper identification.

    Sorry about the branch across the bird,but only got a couple of shots of this immature Olive-backed Oriole,as it came to our waterhole. Still missing from opus!

    Whatever it had in it's beak was taken straight back to a beautiful looking nest that I hadn't seen.

    I have not seen this bird in the two years have been making images of birds of this region. But in the last week I have seen it twice at localities 400km apart. Who can figure it out, not me I am just grateful for the second viewing as I was able to get a reasonable shot.
