I don't do many macros, and this isn't a true macro, as I was a few feet away, but here's a Butterfly for a change.
BTW, it's not that my camera can't do macros, it can. It's me that can't keep squatting to take pictures.|=)|
This male Orange-tip was very approachable and even stayed on my finger while I took lots of photos of him! It was one of the best encounters with nature I've ever had!
An Orange-tip butterfly nectaring on wildflowers at Strumpshaw Fen on Saturday. Can anyone confirm that the plant is Star of Bethlehem (Ornithogalum umbellatum) please? Ron
I have only few shots of this beauty. This is for our Marian. I know she is sitting on flowerfeald waiting the flowers to grow and the butterfies to land on them.. ;)
