Collared Scops Owl (Otus lettia), Taiwan
Spent few hours great time at Taipei Botanical Garden during my last visit to Taiwan, Feb 2020. This is an open park with gate but no entrance fee. Great horned owl
One of our larger owl species, and as with all owls, difficult to spot during the day. When nesting, the male will be more active during the day, both guarding the nest and retrieving food and nest supplies - that's when you can get lucky and find one in the open. Somewhat!- Zackiedawg
