It seems to have carved out a territory, just off the path on the way to the dam!!! This time, instead of closing it's eyes and pretending not to be there, it looked us over! {I'm also sure that it believes itself to be invisible!} Same tree, different day!!! A

Found this little owl in a park. This picture was took in almost total darkness. The only light source was two street lamp from far away.

Those two were in a grove of tall trees near a lake. They were close and in view of each other but in different trees.
Quite possibly they formed a breeding pair. One is a gray phase individual and the other is the rarer red phase.
