Well Peeps,
Its an early post and run from me this morning...I am off to Rye Harbour with me birding buddy Aivars. It will only be for a few hours, as Hazel has to have her stitches out at the hospital this afternoon. I will catch up with y'all later.
A very dull Sunday lunch time at the Tay Estuary near Dundee. I rather like the way the only splash of colour here is his beak LOL.
Sorry for the long absence Hopefully I'm almost back now - I've had an extremely sore foot - doc isn't sure yet whether it's an infection or that thing that old...
Well Peeps,
Sorry I missed out on y'all yesterday. The internet at the cottage has not been working since thursday night...So tonight I have decided to bring the lappy to the pub, and wallah...I have internet. So I will post you my 3 for today, and carry on with me Guinness...
.... or they really tease me!!!
I was taking pictures of a pretty distant oyc but it wasn't until I downloaded the images that I found a Crow had flown through - at least I presume it's a Crow as there were plenty there.
Maybe I've caught some unidentified rarity.;)
For many weeks through the early part of summer I heard Oystercatchers screaming around the town, but couldn't see them. I couldn't even work out where they could be hanging out; even though they were at it day and night.
Eventually these two came and sat on the roof of a neighbouring building...
Just along from the geese these two were wandering either side of the fence. The heron is in a ditch and then the swamp begins.
A bit of a distance these shots and a big crop too, so sorry it's not great quality.
