More beautifull Pelican in blue sea water.

I saw this beautifull Pelecan at Wetland Bolsa Chica Huntington Beach California on Sunday going to see birds with my wife.

It's so peacefull on Sunday morning to see a beautifull Pelican swim a round Wetland Bolsa Chica.

On Sunday I went to take birds pictures with my wife at Wetland Bolsa Chica and got this picture of a very beautifull Pelican swiming around catching fishes for lunch.

Our Florida pelicans accustomed to hanging out on local piers and inlets to catch scraps from fishermen will let you get quite close, so i decided to stick the camera right up to this one for a portrait.

Australian Pelican Three shots from my archives today, since I have not been out...the expression on this bird reminds me of several of my old school teachers... :eek!: :'D

It's that time of year when the Brown pelicans are in their breeding plumage. La Jolla cove is a great place tp photgraph them, they are used to seeing a lot of people so they don't seem to mind having their picture taken.

Taken in Autumn last year. AS well as the Pelican, great Egret and Silver Gulls there was a White-Faced Heron in the background. Not clear enough to see very well in this photo.
