Check up on my two friends in the tangle today. You can tell from their depressed crops that they are not full and therefore in "hunt mode." She (on the left) departed while I was watching in an unsuccessful pursuit of a meal.
This is one from my QUICK, PULL THE CAR OVER!!! series. I got this shot of a peregrine falcon that was sitting on a streetlight downtown Manchester, NH. Apparently, I was more of a spectacle than the falcon. This shot was published on the 11 PM news that night ... the next night there was a shot...

Well Peeps,
Its a wet, dark and windy morning here in Norfolk today. We've had some really good birds coming in to the feeders. All the usual garden birds, Tits, Finches, Peckers etc. But yesterday afternoon just as it was getting dusk, there was a female Lesser Redpoll showed up. Not seen her...
This is my favorite lifer, I took him when I was with bobmoose on our trip to Boundary Bay. The trip was amazing!!! Thanks to everyone and all of your comments on my images. I enjoy sharing my birds and adventures with everyone. The owls were amazing, but I wanted to share this guy too.
Many kind comments on the two eagles !

During our recent trip to South Australia's Riverland district, we had ventured down a narrow track to the edge of the Murray River near Overland Corner. AS we were about to leave, we...
This is my favorite falcon, if not my favorite bird. When I turned to see her I spotted her mate first who was dropping his prey mid-air, then caught it again, but dropped it. Both of them came back to see if they could find the lost prey; that is what she is doing while I took her photo here.
Well Peeps,
I had a lovely day out at Rye Harbour yesterday...I walked me little old legs off in the sunshine. I must've covered about three miles overall, so I'm well pleased my fitness levels are up again. Thanks to all of you kind people who wished me well, much appreciated. I haven't had a...
Well Peeps,
It was mostly wet, dark, windy, and miserable weather here in Norfolk yesterday, and its been the same today so far. If it does brighten up, I will get me hide out and try for a few shots. Theres been a lot of activity around the feeders here, with Great, Blue, Coal, and Long-tailed...
After a year of disappearing from their old nest site, its great that these birds have returned to their original breeding area. Unfortunately, due to things that have happened in my life this year, I have not been able to monitor their progress as normal. But pleased to say they have fledged at...
