A very distant shot, but nice to get 3 in a frame.

Just to prove I did see two Peregrines ... Here they both are, in the distance, from across the inlet. This also shows a bit more of the setting I was zooming in on when I shot the one falcon that stayed on the cliff. Someone suggested yesterday that it might have been guarding a nest, but...

Siblings perch together (from the relative size of the crop, the one on the right has had more to eat recently from Mom and Dad than the one on the left). They both look healthy and about the same size.

I have a whole series of shots of this event, but taken at quite a distance, so big crops.

I shot this from 650 feet away; this box is about 40 feet above the Hudson River atop an anchorage of the Collar City Bridge in Troy, NY. I have monitored the parents of these young ones for six years. I spend a lot of my birding hours observing this family at this time of the year.

For my 77,000th post on BF, it just has to be one of my very fave birds.
