How many different birds can you fit into one picture?
My identifying skills are not great yet, but I'm hoping these are correct. Double crested Cormorant, American white pelican, Ring-Billed gull, and in the background out of focus (didn't notice him until I was reviewing the images) great...
Double-crested Cormorants (Phalacrocorax auritus floridanus) and Ring-billed Gulls (Larus delawarensis). The cormorants are mostly 1st yr birds (whitish neck fronts) working a school of fish while the gulls were kleptoparasiting the cormorants as they surfaced with a fish.
A really close shot, from about 10 feet away and 600mm, this cormorant was standing on a rail and had its neck down low watching the water, in case a good fishing opportunity came up. The cormorants in parts of Florida are so accustomed to people walking by that they will stand on a rail as you...
This shows why a Cormorant is so good at catching fish. He stabs them with the lower part of the beak and then clamps down with the top part, which has a hook on the end.
Double-crested Cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus) Sexes similar, 1st year bird approaching 1st breeding season. Anauhac National Wildlife Refuge, Shoveler Pond, northwest of High Island abutting East Bay, Chambers County, Texas, USA. Coastal marshes and prairies at 2-3 m (6-10 ft) elevation.
Double-crested Cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus subsp. floridanus) Sexes similar. Colorado River near downtown Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA. Edwards Plateaus Vegetational Area. Colorado River with a narrow band of riparian woods at ca. 130 m (427 ft) elevation.

Working on the presentation about Belize for the Migration Festival in Huerta Grande, Algeciras, next Thursday 27. I will talk about this tropical paradise and project many pictures from my last tour. This is a Double-crested Cormorant at sunrise, in Caye Caulker.
I think he said that. It's hard to tell. They have a voice something like a pig, a camel, and a frog combined. Makes caroling kinda iffy.
Phalacrocorax auritus - cormorn orejudo - double-crested cormorant
