The Pheasants at the feeding station are wary and never come close if there are a lot of people about but if you stand still and are silent they sometimes come quite close.
Flushed her while chasing Whiethroats and fired off a couple of shots. Was surprised this one was sharp.
Off to Eastern Sweden this evening to celebrate a double 50th birthday party so no more posts until Monday.

After all the other pheasants had disappeared I saw this one standing all alone looking a bit bemused. It stood still though so was easy to photograph.
I noticed these birds crossing the path while trying, and failing, to photograph Goldcrests. When I went up the path to investigate, the mother bird flew off and then the father bird ran off up the hill at an incredible speed leaving these youngsters to fend for themselves. I took a few pictures...
OK, I've seen better pheasant shots but this is the first of mine that I thought worth posting in the gallery. :-)
