I took Alfie, the dog, for a long walk and he flushed out a lot of Pheasants. Surprisingly, this is one he didn't spot, even while I took its picture.

Possibly a relation to Tim, Nice but... Fabulous colours on these birds when the sunlight falls on them, but they're not the sharpest tools in the box!

Now I know it's a Pheasant, and I also know they are not Blue, so I will leave it to ya!!!

Although Pheasants are not unknown around bird feeders, it generally tends to be the female of the species.

I caught this un skulking through the undergrowth at Arne.

As I watched the sun appear yesterday morning, I realised I was not alone; to my left, on the edge of a frost covered landscape, sat quietly, was this Pheasant, bathed in the first rays of the day, staring in the very same direction as myself... (only difference was, he didnt have a camera! lol)...

I have seen so many of these beautiful birds in different colours and shades that I no longer know what the "true" colour actually is. Only two days ago I saw one which was a beautiful green.

A change from the colourful cock Pheasant, but she can look just as good in the right light.

Taken this morning.This male came in and nearly cleared up all of the seeds i'd put down for the small birds,still i suppose if you're this handsome you're easily forgiven.
