    Compared to the bird-in-flight shot recently uploaded, this was the real McCoy! - a real joy to watch these birds feeding, as there are not so many nectar feeders back home in the UK

    This was one of my first bird-in-flight shots after entering the delights of DSLR photography - not an intentional one though! - maybe it took to flight because I started clicking away....in my nephew's garden on a visit to the antipodes.....
