Just finished the 7th virtual concert for the folk club, then tomorrow we're off to Port Augusta for a few days again, to the Arid Lands Botanic Gardens.

Just finished a busy fortnight with the 3rd folk club virtual concert, an exhibition of bird photos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dsOr0Zw84U&t=4s) and starting Adrienne's 2nd CD.

There were so many of these in front of the hide you could take your pick of photos!

We visited a hide which had hundreds of these birds in front of it.

A comparison shot. Both were lifers that day. We also saw some Wandering Whistling Ducks, but I didn't get good shots of them.

These birds are unusual in that they rarely enter the water!

These are such sweet & dainty little ducks. As this one has a broken right wing, it cannot fly & has made this local lake its permanent home. Although not tame, it allows you to sneak up relatively close compared to one in the wild. I love the colour of its bill!
