The Sparrow Hawk makes a regular appearance and sits around for ages. It's even sat on the surround of my garden pond. For so long one day I thought it was ill.
Red Tailed Hawk I captured yesterday staring me down like food :-P. This was from the front porch of my mom's house in Busti, NY. All kinds of prey birds around there, I also saw a Bald Eagle flying around across the street. Too far for a good photo.

I took this photo last Fall. This Sharp Shinned Hawk flew right over my head after capturing the House Finch he's eating, and was quite content to let me take several shots.

This was my first opportunity to see an eagle in the wild. Though is was a dark gloomy day with rain and snow, I was fortunate to get a few pretty decent shots. It was very exciting!
