My first shot of a Pufffin, couldn't get any closer than this but hey I was just pleased to get one.

Every time another puffin landed near this guy he opened his beak wide in disapproval.

This was my first daytrip to this magical island, a 500 mile round trip i might add.I only had about 4 hours on the island so i didn't see all of it,i spent nearly all of the time with the puffins. I'd been after a shot of one on the lichen covered rocks and i grabbed this one whilst waiting...

pretty fast at times!!! As mentioned the other day, not really taken many flight shots, but as we had a bit of time on Inner Farne, as we couldn't land on Staple Island, thought i'd experiment, try a few settings etc...most were rubbish, but some shots were ok. Mike

This puffin paraded around with this beak full for a while untill it finally disappeared down its burrow.

I took a trip to bempton cliffs with the family today. i really enjoyed the day with all the marvellous sea birds. I particularly liked this puffin.
