Taken on Staffa, the only day it rained during a clorious week of sunshine! The midges came out and ate me whilst I photographed the puffins. Still it was worth it to see these birds all around me with no fear.

There Wasn't many Puffins at Bempton this year but I managed to get a couple in the distance like this one, hiding behind a rock.

We took a visit to Skomer, I found it a lot harder to shoot these fellas than at Farne Islands...

Real characters, a pleasure to watch.

Went up to Bempton again as it was very misty the last time I was there, about a month ago and this time it was a lovely day for it.

Lovely spot those Farne Isles, you British are lucky to have places like this! This is an uncropped picture.

A wonderfull trip to the Farne Isles resulted a.o. in this (uncropped) detail shot of a puffin beak. For me, as a Dutchman, it was stunning to see the huge amount of puffins just about everywhere, just on the other side of the North Sea!

Not sure who got in the way of who here. I'd missed this sorting through the images. Its a huge crop and the original thumbnail looked like nothing.
