A group of puffins catching the sun on the Isle of May. A shot taken a few years ago. Nice to catch up many years later. Apparently the genus is called Fratercula (little brother) because the black and white plumage resembles monastic robes.
I came across my brother studying what was around and it just struck me as rather funny that all the Puffins were behind him.
Of course there was plenty to look at whichever way you faced.
In case you're wondering, he is a member here (username Ken Gates), but hasn't posted very much.
Phew - that's a bit wiffy mate! - Puffins. This is my Saturday fun today as I am away for a week now and will not be posting. Thank goodness I hear you cry. See you later.
