Today, I went round the headland of Quiberon. The sea was rough and the wind was so strong my camera was throbbing in my hands. Most of my photos are blurred . I captured this purple sandpiper as it was foraging near a small puddle in the rocks.

This was taken from the top of rocks where I was sitting uncomfortably and I tried hard to stop my camera wobbling.

Spent most of the day at Portland Bill on sunday, did some nice long cliff walks, knackered meself out, but watched five of these Purple Sandpipers busily feeding away.
