One morning at the beginning of November, I suddenly realised there was a beautiful rainbow.... and there wasn't a cloud in the sky!!!
It was a huge arc, even zoomed right out I couldn't get the top of it, let alone the far right hand side.
I don't know when I last saw one quite so impressive.

A Wonderful Lorrie feeding on my favourite tree in our garden this tree is around 20 years old it flowers a fair bit specially if we get good rain the lorries love the flowers nectar I love their colours sound and visits.

I was out one evening last week on my usual walk cum birding schedule on city outskirts, when suddenly it started thundering. A local system built up and it started drizzling. Looking east, saw this lovely rainbow. As I took a shot, it started pouring.
The rainbow lorikeets are quite prolific in our area, they visit daily to drink & bathe in the water bowl. They brighten up the day with their colourful plumage.
