    Singled out this chap, by no means the only one there. I don't think I would visit this location again until they clean it up. Rats everywhere, rubbish around the pond, and it smelt of sewage. Come on Preston, sort it out!

    A young brown rat (Ratus norvegicus) attempting to access a feeding table via a tree that a larger female had jumped from earlier in the day! He never bucked up the courage for the jump!

    This was one of two rats that kept appearing over a wall and having a quick feed on some seed left out for the birds before disappearing for a short while.

    During Annettes last visit to "My" Estuary she commented that it would be worthwhile leaving seed along the stone wall on the point so a bucket of Sunflower Hearts later and not a dicky bird found out why today as I waited up a family of Rats were the reason they were always eaten :) gets better...

    I went specifically today to Swallow Pool to take pics of cute little cygnets.... this is what I came away with !!! Not one cygnet in sight :(
