    I couldn't see the details. but I knew a battle was ensuing. The Red Headed Woodpecker was very involved with something in the tall grass, but it wasn't clear until I uploaded the images. In the end, the Woodpecker flew off with a meal.

    These guys are always around but can be pretty scarce around where I live. This winter however, they were everywhere. I think it may have been because we had a good acorn crop, while other states suffered this last year.
