I couldn't believe my eyes this morning when this Red Legged Partridge waddled down the garden! We live in an urban area around a mile from open countryside and quite how this partridge ended up here I really don't know.

I was driving around an industrial estate in search of waxwings when something a bit strange on a factory roof caught my eye. Grabbed a few shots, but when I tried to reverse the car for a clearer view, it vanished.
There are in fact 3 birds in this shot, contrary to the illusion that one bird has 4 legs! :)
