    This red rumped swallow was a surprise find. The juvenile barn swallow was begging for food - but the rr swallow was having none of it!

    Two Red Rumped Swallows cling to a vertical rockface adjacent to their nesting cave in Monfrague N.P. These birds were surprisingly common throughout the park nesting under bridges & in culverts as well as natural sites.
