Taken at the Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area (Lake Boris) at over 30m.
A bit surprised I got any shots of this hawk at all...wrong camera settings, long range, and up in the middle of complex tree branches. So glad I did though...this was a day full of birds of prey!
Well....nearly 3 more inches of rain today. Guess it drove the worms out of the ground and this Hawk was having a feast.
