    Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis harlani) Melanistic bird with signs of some leucism. Caesar of birdforum believes this to be Harlan's Red-tailed Hawk, subspecies harlani. I appreciate his expertise and have added this subspecies name.
