went to the same wetland i found them before and found about six of them, wonder if they are all since before or the number increase by migration.
no sign of the citrine wagtail, and the marsh harrier.

Thanks to the ID Forum I found out that what I thought to be a Meadow Pipit, could well be a Red-throated Pipit! They stay over winter also in Morocco.
saw some gray wagtails on the lawn, very close, so i took the camera away form the bag, so they started to run away, gurrr, this one stopped to look back, thought it was just another tree pipit.
was so happy to find that it is this one, on the top of my wish list for many years.

A digiscoped photo of my first and so far only Red-throated Pipit (lifer #457), seen in the fields along Arnold Rd. in Oxnard, California. This species is a rare but annual fall vagrant along the California coast.
Just got the small matter of The Autumn then Winter to get through before going back to this wonderful island.. lots of wistful thinking to do before then I guess!
Not only us that enjoy the flora of Lesvos then.. :)
