Well Peeps,
The weekend is upon us...I hope the weather is kind to us, and y'all have a good un. I've got the dentists (Ouch) this morning, so see y'all later.
Well Peeps,
Its post and run for me this morning...We are on the road again. We are off to Wroxham, Norfolk for a long weekend then moving onto Lakenheath, Suffolk for a few days, so see y'all later.
Taken yesterday on thge mud flats near grimsby docks there were also a few shelducks so I shall put one of them on on sunday. also this is my first redshank.
Well Peeps,
Its post and run from me this fine sunny morning...We will be making our way back home to Hastings later this morning. Its gonna be a long hot journey on four different trains, so lets hope theres no train rage. I guess we will both need a nice cold pint when we get back, so see...
Posting this as I wondering how unusual this behaviour is for a redshank. Other birdwatchers have seen this redshank perching on shrubs several times in the past week or so. It will perch for extended periods then do a circuit or two whilecalling. Is he/she keeping watch over juvs for predators ?
Well Peeps,
I bussed it to Rye Harbour yesterday...I spent about five and a half hours out in the field. The weather was quite nice, albeit really windy, but it was great to be out in the elements.
Well Peeps,
Its an early start for me today...Hazel and I are catching the train to Seaford this morning, to visit the Kittiwake colony. Y'all have fun, and I will see y'all later.
