When I took this photo, the male Reed Bunting was making short work of the top of this reed. If you look closely you will see that it's head is covered in gossamer thin filaments.

We are on the move this morning, going from a very wet and dark Norfolk to Lakenheath, where I guess the weather is much the same. Hope the weather is better for you, whever you may be...See y'all later.
This was spotted yesterday high in wild rose bush> I also got a nice suprise this morning a goldfinch was on the feeder could not get a good image as it was hehind some leaf.
