Got the bus to Rye yesterday, trudged through the fields, and sat in the hide for almost 2 hours. Nothing much about, but this Reedy gave me one distant shot before flitting off. I know its not a great shot, but its another first for me.

First this year for me cheers.

The 1st I've seen so far this year but I suspect that won't last too long.

After a short wash and scrub - feeding the young is a dusty business!

Not a good day to be a fly in the reedbed. The parents were darting everywhere, grabbing flies and other grubs.
