Sat by reed beds very early yesterday morning, just me and the dog watching a pr of reed warblers take nest material back to base. On one of the trips I couldn't believe it one appeared 3 foot to my left in full view of me and started pulling at dead reeds, obviously too close to photograph so...
Taken in a clump of Reeds right at the Gate of the Hotel where I was staying. Taken at 06.45 just as the first sun hit the Reeds giving the photo it's warm colours. Early morning is for me the best time of the Day lots of song and active birds.

I managed one of these the other day but it was mostly obscured by the reeds, however todays result was better.
Hopefully tomorrows attempt will top this one ;), or perhaps not?
