I spent a good few hours waiting for this bird to appear in the open. I had opportunities before this came along, but they were always cluttered with stems. http://www.tomcharles-photography.co.uk/birdgallery.htm

I was walking through Radipole Lake, when this little chap came into view.

Digiscoped from Hanson ARC opposite Dungeness RSPB nature reserve.

Finally caught one these little fellas, normally just here them but this one popped up for a few seconds.

I spent over an hour watching at patch of reeds on Rockland Broad keep moving, indicating that something was present, all of a sudden out popped this little beauty, just long enough for me to get a couple of shots, my bum was sore but I felt it was well worth the effort. PS sorry about the...

This little chap kept chasing away a Reed Bunting that was perched in the same bush!!

Heard but not seen- Not for long anyway.Frustratingly difficult to spot amongst the reeds.
