Cheers Ken for a brill day,see you soon for some Pied Flycatchers my friend ;).
Well Peeps,
The weather stopped me from getting out yesterday, and looks like its going to do the same today. Very wet here, so its three more from last June for y'all today. Not sure if this uns a juve or not?
Just out the nest I'd say as it's lacking a fair few feathers. It was pottering around on the edge of the reeds, waiting for its parents to bring it some food.
From the Reservoirs the other week.
I'm saving my last upload again, as there's been two failed attacks again this morning. The first was the Raptor that scares everything (still not had a decent view of it). The second was a male Sparrowhawk that was on the fence just long enough for me to...
I was hoping to catch the juvenile Magpies today, but next door's brats are in the garden, so little chance of that. Actually, I think they're out there digging up all the Peanut Trees that the Squirrels planted for them earlier in the year.|=)|

Is it's leg deformed and wrapped around it's throat? Or is it just scratching in an odd way (apparently they...
For a few years now I've been going to a local nature reserve, trying to spot (and hopefully photograph) one of the many Reed Warblers which breed there in the reedbeds. The little blighters were always only about 2-4 metres away but I could never see any of them. Anyways, I got lucky on Sunday...
