There's a great park only a short distance from my home, but if you go, beware. A loud tapping sound indicates a Cardinal (Occasionally a Song Sparrow) has found your mirror.

Taken in June 2018 at a drinking pool in the middle of a forest in Hungary (Paid hide) We were photographing song birds and had the most amazing day, lots of songbirds, a bathing nightingale, and within a couple of hours Sparrowhawk, Goshawk and Honey Buzzard, we also had calling Golden Oriole...

Reflection

I was at a local lagoon late one afternoon and used a broken sapling stump as a makeshift tripod to "mobi-bin" this photo. This was done with some measure of difficulty by roughly lining up by hand the camera on my Samsung Note 3 mobile phone with one side of my Zen-Ray 8x43 ED3...

I was amused to see this little one so thrilled with its own reflection move as it flew about in front of the glass. Every now and then it would jump and try to peck at its reflection in the window glass.

This is the reflection of a Whiskered Tern that was flying low over water. The actual bird has been cropped away to focus on its distorted reflection on the water; making it the main subject.

When the water is calm which is quit often here. I sit on the end of our quay and throw bread into the water just to get pics like this.
