It was great watching the young Ringos foraging, then scuttling back to the safety of the adult bird. Has anyone seen Ron(No Spring Chicken)? I think he posted some shots like this un last year.
Well folks, We bussed it to Rye Harbour yesterday. It was really windy, and mainly overcast for most of the four hours we were there. There really wasn't much about at all, especially at close quarters, so a few Wader habitat shots, and a few Tern shots was about the order of the day.
Usually shots taken of this bird prev ,have been looking into the face of the bird,but this was a different angle and shows quite a close up of his face.
Another shot from yesterdays trip to Rye Harbour. This little fella landed in front of the hide, and every time the shutter clicked it would come closer and have a listen as to where the sound was coming from.
Or perhaps she is just giving him a piggy back across those rough stones.!!!
