We were at my dad's funeral in Helensburgh last weekend. A A sad occasion but without any bitterness. He celebrated his 98th birthday a few weeks ago and had a great life, mostly active. Nice to see my family and some old friends and talk about my dad.

We're off to Scotland for a couple of weeks tomorrow. Family in Helensburgh and then a few days on Skye. I'll have a laptop with me but I'm not sure whether I'll have the opportunity to post on Bird Forum.

It's not only the Water Rails that are fearless at Rstasjn. The Robins are very approachable and seem to view people as food sources rather than threats. More like British Robins than Swedish Robins. :-)
