  1. Getting deeper

    Getting deeper

Another day and more snow has fallen, though it looks fairly soft now. Not too sure the Robin is really enjoying it, though he looks pretty there, doesn't he.

  3. The snow is deeep!!!

    The snow is deeep!!!

.... about thigh deep for a Robin! Not quite so deep at the edge of course. The food I threw out disappeared into the depths, so they had to hunt for it. You'll see, from my next picture, why it looks so dark for this image. TTTW

  9. Looks tasty

    Looks tasty

This Robin seems to approve of at least some of the food I provided! Shouldn't say it myself, perhaps, but rather pleased with this as an image, even if the picture is not technically perfect. TTTW

  11. Wolf Robin?

    Wolf Robin?

Howling at the moon...or expressing joy / despair at the snow? I'd go for joy...

    Rob...posing in the snow.
  15. Robin

    Robin

I just stood there and he was coming closer and closer :) No fear at all.
  16. Sunning his butt

    Sunning his butt

This guy was singing, so easy enough to find, but wouldn't turn his red bib into the sun for me. I only got a beam of sunshine on his butt.
  17. Poser

    Poser

.... well he did, didn't he!!! These guys always cheer me up when I see them and I can't help taking their picture when they appear. TTTW
  18. Robin in the tree

    Robin in the tree

I see this wee guy every day now, I think he's getting used to me. The tree is just a few feet from my window.
  19. Inquisitive Robin

    Inquisitive Robin

I set up a new feeding station for the birds this morning - I've put it a bit closer to the house to hopefully get some nice views when we're having our coffee! Within minutes this Robin turned up to check things over - very encouraging!

I've made two friends in the garden, this wee guy and a blue tit.
  23. Cheeky....

    Cheeky....

..... cheery, chappie, don't you think! I was a bit late feeding them that morning and it looks like he's wondering where his breakfast is!! TTTW With a little help from Kim, thanks lass. Snowing again this morning, quite hard for a while too.
  24. Robin

    Robin

Wintry snap of a robin up near Kinloch Rannoch. This was as close as I could get.
  25. Snow going

    Snow going

The next day the snow had virtually gone, except what remained was frozen solid. We were in minus centigrade temperatures for a week! Robins always cheer you up though, don't they. TTTW
