Another day and more snow has fallen, though it looks fairly soft now.
Not too sure the Robin is really enjoying it, though he looks pretty there, doesn't he.
.... about thigh deep for a Robin! Not quite so deep at the edge of course.
The food I threw out disappeared into the depths, so they had to hunt for it.
You'll see, from my next picture, why it looks so dark for this image.

This Robin seems to approve of at least some of the food I provided!
Shouldn't say it myself, perhaps, but rather pleased with this as an image, even if the picture is not technically perfect.

I set up a new feeding station for the birds this morning - I've put it a bit closer to the house to hopefully get some nice views when we're having our coffee! Within minutes this Robin turned up to check things over - very encouraging!
..... cheery, chappie, don't you think!
I was a bit late feeding them that morning and it looks like he's wondering where his breakfast is!!

With a little help from Kim, thanks lass.
Snowing again this morning, quite hard for a while too.
The next day the snow had virtually gone, except what remained was frozen solid. We were in minus centigrade temperatures for a week!
Robins always cheer you up though, don't they.
