dashed into the house to get the camera this morning to capture this garden 'lifer'. He was back this afternoon to eat more flowers and shrubs...... very pretty but we are powerless to prevent his predations !
The next visit to Kinnordy I stopped at the west end for a scan around and spotted this Roe Deer in the middle of the marsh.
Sadly s/he never stopped eating!!
Very distant, so a full zoom and sadly not too well in focus.
While I was at the Marshy end of the reserve, where I too the Oystercatcher on the gate, I thought I could see a very distant blob in the marsh.
Trained my camera in the general area and got this Roe Deer.
Not a great picture, as it's fully zoomed in and well cropped too.
This Roe Deer entertained us for quite a few minutes right outside the hide! I've never seen one come so close.
In fact, there were two of them in the end, but I couldn't really get the other one in shot, as I'd have probably scared them away if I moved.
You may get another picture of him...
Enough of tricky SP pictures for today.
This one was still taken using Shutter Priority though and I'm really pleased I didn't mess up!!
I've seen Roe Deer many times at the reserve, but always on the far side of the loch. This one was right beside the hide! So beautiful.
Exposure Priority...
