Following up on my seedy places theme ;).
One of Trondheim's claims to birding fame is our flock of rooks. There are none south or east of us for quite some distance and none further north at all, and our rooks only hang out in a few spots around town - all of them on the east side of the river...
What goes around comes around. Sheep eat grass --> sheep fertilize grass --> worms process fertilizer into soil --> rooks eat worms --> rooks fertilize grass --> sheep eat more grass ... and eventually, we eat sheep/wear wool/etc |=)|
