This Rook was calling to another on a neighbouring tree. I waited for the other one to call and was ready for the shot when this one replied. I really like these birds. They always looks as gnarled and ancient as the trees which they favour. Ron
This Rook was one of the many corvids seen at the various services stations on the M6.
