A Ruff feeding in the mud at Titchwell. I had to ask for an ID on this one as it seemed smaller than the Ruffs which I have seen before. I think it is a juvenile female. This is the first time I have been close enough to one for a decent shot, so it is a 'first' for me. Ron

Nice to get close to male Ruffs in the midst of their remarkable transformation to breeding spec. Rest assured I will do my best to capture one when in full regalia!
My very first attempt at digiscoping, hope I get better I believe this may be a Spotted redshank changing to summer/breeding colors. Open to correction.

Oh what a great day Monday was, strong warm lighting early and late in the day, taken from the new hide at Titchwell, great for viewing but not for photography a tad high @ 20feet above the ground
