ruff

The same ruff flock as the last upload showing their frontside. It was the end of the day. The light was fading but I liked the light through the wings on this one.

The light was fading when I took this shot, so I am quite pleased at how it has turned out.

Alot of ruff today at Martinmere. They looked almost golden in the beautiful late afternoon sun.

well folks spotted this bird with many others at martin mere last weekend,i counted six different rings on this bird and none on others,is this normal.

Went up to Martinmere for a couple of hours this afternoon. Decided to take the 300d as it is better than nothing. In the end it seemed to behave itself and we got some good close views of ruff in the grass.

They chased each other all over the place.

At least I think they are Ruff, can anyone confirm. Thanks.

This ruff was feeding from the edge of the reservoir, right on the causeway across it. Very handy for some close pics.
