    I visited Assateague Island this weekend. I can add at least 10 birds to my life list. I really need to start using my tripod again. My number of usable shots are not as high as I would like. Most of these birds were in groups and very dificult to isolate.

    While sitting on the beach in front of our camper at Long Key State Park about sunset we spotted this lone skimmer in a large group of Laughing Gulls. Managed to catch the skimmer in flight. Long Key is located about the middle of the Keys in Florida.
