Sandpiper? - Vung Tau, Vietnam - Oct 24
I stumbled upon this bold guy landing on a rock very close to the shore. I wasn't carrying my 7D II at the time so I had to zoom all the way in with crappy iPhone camera, hence the poor image quality. I guess it was a sandpiper species but I'm not sure. Please help me identify it, thank you.- ike61095

Narragansett, Rhode Island USA - Scarborough Beach July 12, 2024
I saw this apparent Sandpiper poking around just up the beach from the water among dried seaweed. There were Killdeer around and this looked to be about 70% the size. Least or Semiplamated Sandpiper -- Central Montana
I was just birding yesterday in central Montana and found a dozen or more peeps on the edge of a small pond (I already ID'd the larger Bairds Sandpiper). Three Peepers
Left to right: Least Sandpiper, Black-bellied Plover, and Sanderling. I think. The various little sandpipers don't seem to be too concerned with staying sorted out by species. The only conflicts I saw were Sanderlings chasing each other.- Tired
