Have not been out with my camera this summer but when I took my boys for a day out on the beach one day when the weather was beautiful I did get a few shots of this Sandwich tern as it flew over head. There were quite a few of them around.

This remarkable Tern again carrying two fish back for it's young instead of the usual one. Taken on the same day.

First time I've seen a tern with two fish it's beak! It must have struck lucky when it dived in and managed to grab two fish in one go.

Well Folks, Carnival Week here in Hastings has now officially ended, and I feel quite knackered. I have been out taking pics of all the various goings on during the week, and I reckon I got through 1200 frames. A lot of sorting through and printing to be done, so still not a lot of time for bird...

Took this a couple of days ago, there are hundreds of them here with lots of young, its been a very successful year for these great little birds.
