One month and I'll be enjoying the amazing wildlife of Belize again. Can't wait to be back! These are King Vultures (Sarcoramphus papa), adult and juvenile.

Many Nikon users are claiming that combining 70-200/2.8 VR zoom with TC20E does not give very good results. After photographing this vulture, I have to disagree, the result is excellent...
It has disappeared for more than a week and I was wondering if he will ever come back, but he did.
This first photo shows that he is above the cage where other 3 of his "brothers" are held imprisoned.
In Cuiaba ZOO, there i a couple of King Vultures in the cage. This one I photographed outside the cage. It just sits on the top minding his own business and can come and go as he pleases. I think it shows a solidarity in the birds world. It is not a captive bird.
