The dull weather during my last winter birdwatching trip was just right for some slow motion pictures of crashing waves. I dove landscape photography as well in addition to bird photography. There are more landscape pictures from my last trip on my blog here: www.NatureMonitoring.com
It isn't a bird but it is at a birding location. Ahtopol lighthouse is situated on the southern Bulgarian Black sea coast on the edge of Strandza mountains - the realm of woodpeckers and Semi-collared Flycatchers :) See more of my seascapes in my recent post here...
The beach was full of people watching the sun go down over the horizon but I think the best show was after most had left. This was about ten minutes after the sun had set.
