There were several of these Sedge Warblers flitting about in the reeds at Strumpshaw Fen. I think they must have been a family. Unfortunately they kept their distance but it was great to see. Ron
my first i hope.Should have said i was in long grass for 5 hours for these three shots and got bit by ants ,iv'e never had that happen so a day for firsts then lol.
Not the wisest decision to sit in a camo bag-hide today, with todays temperatures and sun; but it did get me good views of these birds :)

This shot was taken through thick vegitation, so difficult to get a good focus on the bird, this was the best I could manage. I hope to get an improved image tomorrow, with a bit of luck.

Quite a few of these guys around,they seem to visit the same habitat each year,namely the bushes along by the sea defences.Quite possibly because plants/bushes near to water mean lots of insects.
