Another one from Lakenheath Fen last saturday. This Sedge Warbler was in the weeds, and with the wind blowing the reeds between me and the bird, made this quite a hard pic to take.

...Sedge Warblers! The Reed Buntings share their little patch with a pair Sedge Warblers.

Getting my money's worth from this little chap who posed for me at Rutland. Well, I would if we got paid for this ;)

Singing away at Salthouse.

This was taken just before he started singing and climbing up the reed stem.

Photographed this gorgeous little sedge on a walk round my favourite birding patch this morning.

Singing his heart out, he has a mate now saw him with another the other day.

This was taken with a 300mm. handheld and luckily the Sedge Warbler decided to sing just at the right moment.

Another shot from the brief moment at Rutland when a sedge warbler appeared below theh hide window.

All eyes but mine were on the osprey circling across the lake, which was a shame for them, as they missed a sedge warbler within 10 feet of the hide window. Delightful, if somewhat noisy little birds.

This sedge warbler was obviously feeding young, repeatedly returning to this perch with prey every minute or two. Managed to get this shot from behind a prickly bramble bush!

I guess there are probably too many reeds in this photo but this is the view I normally get of Sedge Warblers. Anyway Norfolk reeds are the best. Ron

A Sedge Warbler at Strumpshaw Fen on Sunday evening. The light was poor so there is rather a lot of noise but it was good to see them sitting in the bushes and hedges surrounding the reedbeds. Singing of course! Ron
